Get to the chopper
Hello fellow readers, thought I'd write a new review as quick as I could so here it is.

Call of Duty Black Ops 2, a game many people waited for and a franchise we still buy every year but has it got any better? I'd like to think it has slightly. A lot of people do say, well its the same game over and over with just different guns. I would agree but I believe the whole system has changed with both the online and the campaign settings.

The campaign this time round has really evolved for me, especially with the story line. I've never seen a multiplayer based game have such a good story line you really get into. The Multiplayer has changed slightly with the "Killstreaks" now as "Scorestreaks" So this time round you get your awards by any points gained so even if you shoot down a UAV you can claim those points towards your "Scorestreak". There are a few different "Scorestreaks" however most are just using a different name to previous games and some look different but have the same style of using them.

One big difference in this game is the knifing, It is extremely more difficult to knife someone as they are running passed you as the knife doesn't lock on to them as in previous instalments making it just that more difficult, especially in game modes such as gun game. There Is now a "League Play" where you have to play so many games to qualify then you get put into a league of Bronze, Silver or Gold. I'm not to sure what other leagues there are as I have only seen Gold the highest at the minute.

League Badges

There are three leagues so far which include: Moshpit series, Champions Series and Team deathmatch series. The Moshpit series is a mix of objective game modes with standard rules. Solo only you cannot have split screen and Is a 6v6 game. The Champions Series is a mix of objective modes again however they use competitive rules, You can have teams, split screen not permitted, no care packages, no tactical insertions, lock on only launchers and is a 4v4 game type. The Team Deathmatch series is the most simple TDM with standard rules, Solo only, no split screen and 6v6. They are currently on season 2 of league matches right now.

A new feature called COD TV is also on here, however it is slightly the same as black ops where you can share your videos around with friends and the community. Another thing with the League Play now I have remembered is that you can now live stream your game play straight to YouTube, the video does not save once you have finished playing or turned off the live stream. In the campaign aspects of the game the major difference in the game is that you can now choose your load-out when you begin the mission, they have recommended guns but you can choose from what you have unlocked so far.

Campaign loadout

Zombies are back! Yes they're zombies again with more of a storyline, you can choose whether to just survive for as many rounds possible or try and complete the level by finding out it's secrets and progress through the story. Also with 4 player Co-Op.

My opinion on this game is that It's not the best Call of duty game and its not the worst. I like how the campaign has had more time taken on the story line and the forms of freedom to choose your own weapons and equipment. The online of course is brilliant but that's down to my own opinion based on playing other shooters that are more multiplayer focused, I know a lot of people can argue that Battlefield or Halo are better but it's just what you prefer. Finally zombies, I haven't had much time on zombies yet but from what I have played its great that you can have a story mode/progressive mode and a survival mode.

Good points:
Well improved campaign
Great story
Great online play
League matches are great for people who are competitive

Bad Points:

Can get repetitive online
Campaign is short
Zombies mode repetitive

I know I haven't gone into much detail about this game as my other reviews, the reason for this is that I'm sure that most of you have already played this game as it is very popular.
it is repetitive if you play for a long while, I know some of you will disagree. I'd like to know what your favourite feature is of the game and what is your favourite shooter?

Thank you for reading, It's much appreciated, please check out some of my other reviews.
