Event: -
Let them eat cake, drink wine and socialise
Is it a bar? Is it a restaurant? Is it an exhibition? Is it a live music venue? Yes, yes, yes and yes. Cake Wines have teamed up with Tropfest for a peppy pop-up that's impossible to pigeon-hole. The people at Tropfest might have picked the winners, packed up the projectors and put away the red carpet for another year but the party is still happening at The Rocks.

Cake Wines are a young, fun and ambitious wine label. The people behind Cake make uncomplicated wines at Stoney Fell in the Adelaide Hills, and their focus is firmly on the creative, and we're not just talking about the wine-making process. They commission artists to create unique wine label art and involve themselves in cutting-edge events with a creative twist.

Their partnership with Tropfest in 2013 has led to a month of "cultural" activity, as well as wine of course, at Australia's oldest underground warehouse, an amazing sandstone building at The Rocks. Until Saturday 2 March you can enjoy a range of events and opportunities for socialising with like-minded people, and most of them are free.

You'll get an idea of the general vibe of their events from the video below.
