If you're feeling a little guilty about all these naughty indulgences, you might want to visit the HEALTHY BAKING STAGE with Rowie Dillon. She's the Queen of Gluten Free and will demonstrate how to bake your cake and eat it too. A pioneer in the free-from baking space, Rowie will demonstrate recipes and educate you on wickedly healthy creations for those suffering from intolerances. Enjoy gluten free, lactose free, diabetic and coeliac friendly creations.

If you'd like to get all handsy with cakes, enjoy QUEEN MAKE & TAKE. Hugely popular, it features Queen's fantastic range of products. Classes will take you from start to finish of your own cutesy creation and you get to take away what you make, if you haven't already eaten it on the spot! These classes with Michelle Smith and Michelle Hanley are not just for adults, but suited to children as well. Get your TICKETS here. At just $12.50 a class, the Boho Llama cookies with Michelle Smith have sold out, but there's still tickets for other classes, but you'll need to hurry. The same goes for WORKSHOPS. Unfortunately Katherine Sabbath and Monica Cavallaro workshops are sold out. Don't despair, there's still plenty more to enjoy with other creatives over the weekend so get in quick to nab your tickets.

You can still spend time with Katherine and Monica for FREE at the DECORATING STAGE. One of the most popular features at the Show, this free to attend feature will stage 6 demonstrations each day where you'll learn the art of decorating from world-renowned cake artists like Katherine of course, and Anna Polyviou, Dawn Butler, Kirsten Tibbals, Monica Cavallaro, Julia Day, Michelle Smith to mention a few, with a couple to be confirmed on various days. The Art of Cake Competition Presentation will be held last on the Sunday.

The MEET & GREET event is where you get to be up-close-and-personal with some of the most talented chefs in the industry. The full line up of chefs and decorators will be revealed soon so keep your eyes peeled. The Facebook page is a good source for updates as they come to hand as is the event page.

Get your FAQs and enjoy the Theatre of the event with biggest name chefs from both Australia and overseas, especially in the Cake Decorating Theatre where you have creatives from the US and the UK joining the Australians. Learn how to ice Rudolph cookies, create buttercream flowers and paint with cocoa butter and more. These creative minds have been given carte blanche to recreate some of their craziest creations live on stage, so watch out for Christmas Tree cakes to spiders and a sugary hot dog that won't disappoint.

Bring one, bring all and enjoy live entertainment and gain inspiration as you indulge in celebrity chefs and decorators at the sweetest show in town. In the meanwhile check the website for freebie recipes and if you'd like to be involved as a VOLUNTEER as event crew, ushers, ticketing, staff and volunteers information, send them an email addressed to Karen Spindel - karen@glexhibitions.com with your name, CV and which volunteering position you're interested in. You'll be contacted within 2 weeks to confirm your applications.
