Sensational baked delights and stunning food creations
Indulge your taste buds with sensational treats. The Cake Bake & Sweets Show will celebrate deliciousness at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre from 29 November – 1 December. Treat your senses with the spell-binding aroma of freshly baked goods and stunning creations from the top designers in the baking and decorating world. Edgy pastry chef, Anna Polyviou; leading chocolatier, Kirsten Tibballs; cake queen, Katherine Sabbath; chef and television presenter, Miguel Maestre; plus many more skillful designers of mouth-watering, eye-popping bliss.
There will be workshops, demonstrations, healthy cooking plus meet the expert chefs and decorators in the industry. On the Decorating Stage, this free event will host six demonstrations each day. Learn from popular cake and bake artists such as Julia Day, Monica Cavallaro and Michelle Smith. Rowie Dillon, the Queen of gluten-free cooking, will show how to bake cakes, tarts and a vegan mousse which are tasty and healthy too. The Cake Bake and Sweets Show offers a VIP Experience with complimentary food and beverages while watching the fun and theatrics of the Super Theatre from the comfort of your VIP lounge. You will also receive fast track entry, priority seating, access to all free features of the show as well as a VIP gift. Tickets for this experience are $95 per person.
General daily entry tickets for adults are $22.50. Children 13 – 17 years and concession holders are $17.50. Under 12 years are free. A general admission ticket will give you access to all the free features the show has to offer which include the Super Theatre, Decorating Stage, Healthy Baking Stage and access to the Art of Cake entries exhibit. Tickets to half day workshops are $160 – $200 which includes general admission ticket and access to the other two days of the show. Full day workshops are $350, which includes a delicious lunch and admission for all three days to this foodie fest. International award winning cake artist, Barbie Regini of Barbie lo Schiaccianoci – Sugar Art is flying all the way from Milan to Melbourne to conduct a full day workshop on how to make the perfect sugar figurines.
