The
Cake Bake and Sweets Show will be whipping up a frenzy in the Sydney Showground at Olympic Park between the 13th and 15th of June. This unique live event is held over a huge three days and offers something for everyone who has a baking bone in their body. So cinch up your finest aprons, guys and girls and get ready to shop, bake, taste, decorate and watch the experts in the business demonstrate everything that is cakey, bakey and sweet.
The show is stuffed full of mesmerising morsels and one of the most exciting parts is the opportunity to see all the entries of the
Australian Cake Decorating Championships . A world of wondrous wedding cakes will be on display, with this years theme "A Kaleidoscope of Colour". It's the perfect place for brides-to-be to seek inspiration or even find the wedding cake designer of their dreams. Alongside the wedding cakes is a different world full of whimsy, the novelty cakes and sugar-craft display. Some of the most eye-catching and exquisite sugar-craft in the country will be a sight to behold with this years theme being "A Circle of Love" and who could go past the novelty cakes, bringing the imagination to life with this years theme of "Defying Gravity".
The
Dessert Table Showcase by Confetti Fair is also a must see, especially for those with an up-coming special celebration. Dessert tables have fast become the popular alternative to standard desserts at events. There will be an array of dessert tables styled in a variety of themes and showcasing all sorts of sweets. Be inspired, talk to the experts and simply just drool over the beautifully decorated tables.

There will be three feature stages, each offering something different;
The Super Theatre is where you will be able to find masters of the craft, from TV baking stars to your favourite chefs designing decadent desserts, creating signature dishes and wowing with edible works of art. After seeing your favourite personalities onstage, you will also be able to buy their book and get it
signed by them, just head to the book sellers stand near the theatre.
To hone your own baking skills, the
Delicious Kitchen by KitchenAid will be host to some of the big bosses of baking. They will be cooking up a storm of sweets, baked goods, desserts and more treats than you could poke a fork at. You'll have the chance to win giveaways and absorb a lot of insider information.
The final theatre is the
Cake Decorating Theatre by Bakels . If fondant, sugar-flowers and piping is where your heart lies, then this is the theatre for you. World-class technicians in the decorating field will be there to share all their tips and tricks so you can design and execute your own baked beauties with confidence at home.
