I live in the beautiful inner-city Brisbane and regularly go to restaurants with my wheelchair zooming Mother. My reviews have a focus on disabled accessibility into and around the places I visit.

Coffee by day, wine by night - the secret life of a cafe
What is more life affirming and reassuring than coffee? Why, wine of course. The Caffeine Coffee shop on Commercial Road has recently combined the best of both heavenly worlds. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday this extremely popular cafe by day turns into a quaint and cosy wine bar by night.
The friendly staff will welcome you and happily serve you from a selection of cocktails, wines, spirits and beer. From the kitchen aromas arise hinting at the mouthwatering food to come. The menu listing off an array of gorgeous sounding tapas style food and cheese platters.
The beauty of this venue is that you can easily chat to your friends without being drowned out by overtly loud music. Sit back, relax and enjoy a sociable drink and share a cheese platter. Or be a rebel and go it alone. You can sit on a comfy bench seat and sip an Espresso Martini while nibbling on some rather tasty delicacies.
