A local favourite for more than 30 years
A local favourite for over 30 years, this quaint venue sits tucked away on Kellet Street, seemingly a world away from the adjacent hustle and bustle of Kings Cross.

I've personally been visiting Caffe Roma for more than 12 years for every occasion from casual last minute dinners to big birthday group gatherings, and I've thoroughly enjoyed every single visit.

Caffe Roma's traditional Italian menu has everyone covered, with a wide range of insalate (salads) and secondi (main courses) alongside the pizza and pasta options. The secondi menu at the time of writing features steaks and a number of seafood dishes such as grilled octopus, swordfish fillet and fresh Tasmanian black mussels.

On this recent visit I chose the vegetarian pizza, which was laden with chunky seasonal vegetables. Caffe Roma serves traditional Italian thin crust pizzas with crisp light crust at the edge. Traditional Italian pizzas can be deceptive to the eye, you can eat more than you think you will because the base will never outweigh the toppings.

Of course many will say that no Italian meal is complete without a drop of wine. Caffe Roma's wine list includes a good range of high quality reasonably priced Australian and New Zealand wines, plus a number of Italian red wines to suit all tastes.

Caffe Roma is open from 6pm until extra late every night, so don't be afraid to make a late night date or pop in for supper after a night on the town.

Caffe Roma is situated at 9 Kellett Street, Potts Point, NSW 2011.

Your Comment
Love Caffe Roma, first started going there about 25 yrs ago and it was always our first stop after a night out. Their pizza is the best. Haven't been for a while but have been wanting to return and say hi to Danilo and enjoy my favourite prosciutto rocket pizza. Theirs is the one I compare all others to.
