Fine food and fine coffee with a Mediterranean twist
Nestled in the Westerm suburb of Corinda is a bustling little cafe, which we stumbled across last weekend for a lunchtime date.

My husband and I had just dropped our son to his Futsal training at Oxley when we went in search of somewhere to eat. This is when we ended up at Caffe Primavera in the neighbouring suburb of
Corinda.

Our thought was that it looked busy, so it must be a good place to eat and lucky for us it was a great place to eat lunch.

Caffè Primavera is a mixture of Mediterranean and modern Australian cuisine and the choices on the menu offered a large variety of dishes.

My husband ordered Salt and pepper squid with baby spinach, cherry tomatoes, red onions, capers with a lemon aioli ($21). He can't go past calamari or squid and he was very impressed with his lunch as the squid was lightly floured and well seasoned. He was particularly happy with the taste and especially happy with the way the squid melted in his mouth.

My choice was the chilli and garlic baby octopus ($21) with grilled Turkish bread. It was full of flavour and "very Mediterranean"

Caffè Primavera is opened 7 days for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast menu until 4pm. It is also fully licenced so you can enjoy a glass of vino with your lunch or you could BYO a bottle for dinner.

We noticed a sign that advertised a $25 Pasta and Pinot on Wednesday night which sounded like a nice dinner idea if we were ever down this way again.

Or the decadent array of desserts, cakes and sweets might tempt us to dine here again with the fine coffee on offer.

Overall a good place for us to find as our son has Futsal training for another 3 months at Oxley so we might venture here again to try some of the other menu items.
