Cafenatics have a few cafes around Melbourne's CBD. I recently visited the one in QV on Red Cape Lane for breakfast.

It's a small but popular cafe. Out the front, red chairs decorated the pavement. Inside, the decor was modern and stylish, complete with hanging globes and framed mirrors.

From the front counter I picked something I'd never seen before, a "vege muffin" consisting of an English muffin filled with mushroom, eggplant and pesto. It was delicious and only cost $3.

Cafenatics also had scrambled egg muffins, toasties and croissants for purchase. I imagine that other goodies appear a little later in the day.

Loads of drinks were on offer and all the prices seemed reasonable.

The service was a little slow, but the decent coffee I enjoyed more than made up for it.
