Cafe Vahik

Once upon a time, there was a man called Vahik who bought a coffee stand and set up on the streets of La Jolla. His coffee and service proved popular and his regulars grew.

Friendly service and great coffee

On visiting La Jolla on holiday, a local friend recommended I try Vahik's great coffee. He told me the story of how he used to visit Vahik's coffee stand each morning and soon started to text the coffee order ahead so he could drive by and grab it from the window of his car on the way to work. Vahik's coffee was the best and so was his service

Vahik's success grew and he now owns Windansea Cafe. The reputation has stayed true and as most people continued to call the cafe Vahik's, you can now see it printed on the yellow awning, a beacon to coffee lovers. The cafe offers a wide range of coffees as well as bagels and sandwiches. If you call ahead, you can still have your coffee order waiting for you.

Vahik's Cafe is a short walk down a palm tree lined road to Windansea Beach. On a hot day, it's a perfect treat to pick up a creamy frappuccino and wander down to watch the surfers riding the waves.
