Cafe Randwick - is in Randwick
The latest cafe to join the list of popular restaurants and cafes at the Spot is Cafe Randwick, and it more than deserves its place among the Spot's success. Don't let the unoriginal name fool you, the decor and menu items are creative and delicious.
The cafe recently opened next to the Ritz Cinema, taking the place of the old bookshop. It has completely transformed the building into a new and exciting cafe! Only seven weeks old, the cafe is already popular and the number of visitors even during the day is surprising. The hot chocolates and cappuccinos are highly recommended, both of them topped with rich shaved chocolate. The Vittoria coffee beans are rich and the coffee is well made.
There's plenty of space inside cafe, with clean, white tables. The chairs are creatively designed and the walls are a pale turquoise colour, with interesting tile patterns on certain sections. The walls are filled by giant posters which add to the cafe feel. It's a cosy cafe, with a pleasant atmosphere both during the day and at night. I have been there for a morning coffee and a late night hot chocolate!
