We stopped in for a weeknight dinner and were seated quickly. Once seated inside, the environment is casual and convivial, with wood panelled walls, some greenery hanging from the ceiling and artwork for sale all around the walls.
Our mains were the 'Chicken Paparazzi' and a seafood pizza. The chicken, stuffed with camembert, avocado and sundried tomatoes was juicy and rich, but not too rich with cheese as can sometimes be the case at other places. The seafood pizza was very cheesy but the base stayed crisp all the way through.
For sweets, we chose a scoop of pretty decent gelati each. The breakfast menu is available until the very respectable breakfast time of 4pm every day and offers an extensive range of savoury and sweet options.
The lunch & dinner menu has Italian influences, but there are plenty of other interesting specials to mix things up with an extensive selection of gourmet salads, pizzas, pastas, main meals and tasting plates. Cafe Paparazzi also has a wide selection of coffees, teas, gelati and sweets on offer. The food is good value and won't disappoint.
Cafe Paparazzi is on Unley Road in Malvern and is open from 7.30am to 10pm daily.
