Looking for a quick, delicious and affordable lunch on the run can be a challenge on a marathon sales shopping expedition, but last weekend at Indooroopilly Shopping Centre I managed to find an unexpected gem.

Shopping centre meals can be dubious at best I know, but Cafe One, located on the second floor outside Myer, is a small, excellent food stop and quite surprising for such a busy mall.

It is old fashioned- with beautiful mosaic tables and incredibly fast service from friendly staff. After wolfing down an all-day breakfast while watching the passing parade I was ready for a delicious, creamy milkshake before hitting the shops again.

The kid's menu is an added bonus, with some great healthy (and not so healthy) options, but I have to say their all day breakfast was my favourite. Cheap and delicious, would definitely recommend!
