This is a great new café at Kippax Fair, located at the Northern end (AKA the Maccers end, past Aldi if you start at the Playground ).



It's filled with natural textures like wood, and is beautifully coloured with black, red and brown. One corner is devoted to a gelato stand (with sprinkle options) that was a huge hit for my pre-schooler (and for me), but probably the most unique thing about is that they have an entire corner devoted to kids - with a table, secondhand toys, and enormous blackboard walls. As a mum with a baby, I also appreciated the disabled toilet.



The word "Okrich" is Sri Lankan for "Success" and this café definitely lives up to its name. I enjoyed the choice of regular café fare or something with a Sri Lankan twist - all of it made fresh. Their motto is "Sweet and Spicy" and it's absolutely true.
