Close to a major shopping centre and the freeway, in a fairly new area sits the modern bright and stylish Café Nocello. Patrons travel from all over the Metro area to dine here and it gets full quickly, so make sure you book a table and don't miss out on this dining experience.
Whether you are dining in or taking away, the food is delicious. Try one of their gourmet woodfired pizzas, they make a delicious meal to take home and share with the family. If you are planning to dine in, check out the delightful Italian home cooked food.
There are loads of pizza options, from traditional pizzas to gourmet delights that are wonderful to try out, and you may even find yourself a new favourite.
Serving mainly familiar home style Italian cuisine, Café Nocello's extensive menu offers loads of options, including, of course, their Gourmet Woodfire Pizza. The atmosphere is very welcoming, the food is excellent and the staff are friendly and helpful; they really take care of you. The Pollo Nocello – pan fried chicken breast, topped with creamy garlic prawns, with chips and salad ($31.50) and Pollo Parmigiana – crumbed chicken breast with fresh napolitana sauce, shaved ham and melted mozzarella cheese, with chips and salad ($28.50), were both perfect. Generous portions of old favourites at fairly good prices means that you will go back again and again- try old favourites at first, and then to try new and exciting dishes.
If you want a function there, then there is a set menu, however there are plenty of options available even though it is a set menu. From starters to desserts, there is something for everyone.
If you are a vegetarian or have an allergy, then let the waiters know and they will be more than happy to organise a special meal just for you. The waiters know their specials and meals off by heart and are happy to let you know all about them.
After dinner, take your pick from a variety of desserts available, Tiramisu, Profiteroles or Lemon Tart are all delicious at $9.50 and a great tasting cappuccino for $4.00.
Café Nocello is BYO, prices are very reasonable, or if you prefer there is a take away service. Prices are slightly less for take away. They have a kids menu and are very happy to host functions with a set menu.
They are open Tuesday to Sunday, from 10am until late. You don't have to book a table, but it would be best, just to make sure that you get yourself a table.
Lunch, dinner or just coffee and cake, sit indoors or alfresco (if it's not too cold) and enjoy. You won't be sorry and you will be back.
