Cafe Mimo is a cafeteria-styled, licensed (i.e. beer on tap) cafe on Swanston Street, about a block away from Melbourne Central.

As well as pizzas, pastas and other hot foods, Mimo's serves sandwiches (fresh or toasted), focaccias and salads etc. and sweeter options, like slices and muffins, both eat-in or takeaway. They also serve hot breakfasts, such as bacon and eggs.

Staff are super friendly here and there is lots of seating available, so you could really sit and relax at Mimo's for a while (letting all the crowded trams pass by).

Newspapers are available for purchase and there's also an ATM located right inside the front door.

Snapshots:

I didn't have the greatest coffee of my life here, but it was served with a smile, woke me up and it warmed me up, so I think it served its purpose, and I'd probably revisit.
