Caffeine paradise with many fresh lunch choices
cafe kinetic
Satisfying and well roasted latte at Cafe Kinetic.

Cafe Kinetic is one lunch lovers wishlist along Flinders Lane in the city. This is one spacious eat out spot and coffee oasis. A variety of fresh foods are available. If you're not too keen on the foods that you see as you come inside this establishment, then you might be in better lunch luck as you head out the back. A variety of different sandwiches, salads, yoghurt and pasta dishes to name a few are served here.

Plenty of space to enjoy.

It feels like a workplace cafeteria as you head inside and observe the abundance of seats. The ambience could be improved, yet I found my recent 10-minute coffee pit stop here recently satisfying. Otherwise stunning chairs to sit on. Amen to that. When I say that the ambience could be improved, maybe a few more plants would be ideal - just to put more colour and love into the establishment. The chandelier lights are stunning though. These lights blend in quite nicely with the red chairs and the brown tables. Nice one.

Fresh food for lunch - yum.

Even if you just order and pay for your coffee at the front counter, you're still given a table number to take with you. My latte arrived at lightning speed, and I only needed to use one sugar to create the drink of caffeine paradise. There were no sugar sachets as such. You pour the sugar into your coffee, and I definitely poured around one teaspoon worth. Even though the latte art didn't hit the mark, the coffee just tasted like it was well roasted with strong aromas. I don't know what type of coffee bean was used, yet a bean of the arabica variety would have to have been used. My coffee did not taste bitter. The blend was just right with a milky flavour.

Latte paradise at $3.20 a pop. That is great. Have your coffee here or take away. The staff don't mind you hanging around to watch them make your latte or other espresso coffee paradise here at Cafe Kinetic. Next time you're in the need for a caffeine fix during the day, and you happen to be around Swanston Street to the top end of the city, do yourself a favour and think quality, laneway coffee and this is what you will get here. Your lunch (or coffee alone) wish will be granted here. Sweet.
