Cafe Guitar may have only recently opened its doors but is already gathering a steady stream of devoted clientele and it's easy to understand why.
Like its namesake, the Russell Street cafe is filled with guitars, not just those hanging on the wall, but many will be found in the arms of talented musicians, many of the locals.

Guitars are the prominent feature throughout
Live performances occur every Friday and Saturday lunchtime with a range of genres and instruments to delight. The line-up thus far has included gigs by artful pianists, cellists, double bass players, vocalists and of course, the famed guitarists.
A great accompaniment can be found on the menu with velvety pancakes, pizza, salads, sumptuous burgers and crispy hot chips.

The menu has plenty of tasty choices
Whether you're after coffee and cake, or a more substantial serve of pasta and wine, they've got you covered. The venue is also fully licensed so you can enjoy a cold beverage while you soak up the eclectic blend of art, music and food.

Talented musicians perform every Friday and Saturday lunchtime
The staff aim to please and share their love of all things music. The service is exceptional and the atmosphere stimulating.
Located next to Bandland, the business is open 7.30am to 3pm Monday to Friday and 8am to 2.30pm on Saturdays.
