Sunshine Beach, a suburb of Noosa, has an evocative name that is perfect for this beautiful wide stretch of coastline.
And if you'd like an organic coffee and fresh, healthy food with your sun and sand, is here for you.
The organic Vittoria coffee is better for the local environment where the beans were grown, and better for you with fewer chemicals and pesticides in your cuppa. And the coffee I had here was REALLY good.
I also enjoyed a raw brownie - a rich, sticky concoction that seemed to replace flour, butter and white sugar with coconut oil, dates, and cacao. It was nice and I enjoyed knowing it was nutritious, but to be honest would go for the traditional version or perhaps one of the other healthy slices next time.
As well as coffees they do all-day breakfast, lunch and fresh juices and smoothies, with plenty of gluten free and vegetarian options.
You can sit at a table inside or in the outdoor courtyard, at a bar stool facing tropical gardens, or grab a take away for the beach or the park across the road.
The interior is roomy with a colourful retro feel - like Nanna's crafternoon got caffeinated.
When I walked in the manager greeted me warmly, but the person serving me appeared to have brought only the minimum amount of politeness and little enthusiasm to work with her that day.
My healthy treats were only a little more expensive than the traditional versions - $4 for a small coffee and $6.50 for the brownie.
And while soaking up the healing vibes of the ocean, it's good to know you're putting quality food and drink in your body.
