Diversify your taste buds with something different
It seems that every time you look around, a new cafe, restaurant and or dining venue has popped up. We were walking down along the Redcliffe foreshore/shopping precinct and walked literally into Cafe Diversity. I am sure it wasn't here last time we walked this path!
A new place to eat certainly whets our appetite and that is why we decided to stop for lunch here. Cafe Diversity is located along the Redcliffe parade, overlooking the beautiful Moreton Bay amidst the many other cafes and restaurants here.
Cafe Diversity has both indoor and outdoor seating options and we chose to sit outside as it was a glorious sunny Queensland Winter's day. Cafe Diversity is all about inspirational flavours from around the world and a quick look at their menu supports this. Lunch time menu options including Middle Eastern Beef Cheeks, Mexican Pork Tacos and Japanese Calamari. They serve all day breakfast, lunch and have a large variety/diverse range of homemade cakes and desserts on display.
Since we arrived around lunch time, we chose from the lunch time menu options. My husband chose the locally sourced fish and chips (vodka battered fish with snow pea and cabbage salad with chips). I took fancy to the Buddha bowl (organic black quinoa, charred brussel sprouts, mung beans, goat cheese, watercress, pecans with poached egg and turmeric vinaigrette)
Like their names, the menu options are quite diverse and cater to the large diverse dietary choices including gluten free, vegan and nut free.
Our meals were satisfying and hit the spot on this day. It wasn't an overly busy day but the staff on this particular day were a little slow in seating us and taking our orders but when you have a great view of the ocean on a beautiful day, we were all too fazed.
So if you are up on the Redcliffe Peninsula checking out the markets or Bee Gees way, check out this cafe for a diverse range of menu options.
