Great for looking, eating, drinking, relaxing
On Digby Street, Kadina, on the corner opposite the post office, the Exchange Hotel, and diagonally across from the park, you'll find the best cafe in the Copper Coast region. Cafe DeLuxe deserves to be recognised for its excellent coffees and fabulous homemade fare, light meals and sweet snacks. You really have to see the selection available on the day, but expect everything from pasties to Florentines and everything between.
However, the real drawcard with Cafe DeLuxe is the amazing retro decor. A total celebration of arts and music culture. If the decorations were for sale the cafe would be cleared out in a busy weekend of trophy hunters. (Please note, you can not buy the decor!)
Cafe DeLuxe is large with many seating options including a coffee garden and a few street tables. Service is fast and courteous. Cafe DeLuxe is run by a couple who collected and lovingly decorated the entire sprawling cafe themselves, including the art nouveau wall murals. For atmosphere, endlessly interesting things to look at, and great food and drinks, don't miss a visit to Cafe DeLuxe for breakfast, brunch or a light lunch, or afternoon tea. Cafe DeLuxe opens early every day including Sunday, which is nice to know if you're marooned for a good coffee on a weekend away. I most highly recommend popping in to check out the ever-delightful Cafe DeLuxe, Digby Street, Kadina.
