I hate going to a restaurant and realizing I have to go an a scavenger hunt to first find a table, then the menu then somehow get the waiters attention. Luckily, this wasn't a problem here. The staff was very friendly on approach, giving me speedy service and a polite tone that I know is something very hard to find.
Open from 7am til 11pm the café has that all round good, speedy service that you're looking for after a busy day. I didn't even notice the waiter refill my water glass as he took the menus away. It is very easy to get entrapped in your own little piece of the world in the private nooks you choose to be seated in. With a good atmosphere you're able to relax in, you notice the lay out of a spacious room, though the dim and warm theme allows a feeling of intimacy. It can be a place to go with your friends for lunch, family for dinner or that special someone after a night of courting. All round, it is an accommodating setting for any occasion.
The food quality of the restaurant was rewarding. The good quality and decent sized portions definitely earned them points, and the presentation was impeccable. In particular, a mention of the salt and pepper squid, as it was a very satisfying dish. I was fascinated and impressed with the use of thinly sliced apple in the salad that gave it a unique and enjoyable flavour. I was impressed with the sophistication and air of class that the café offered me, and recommend it to those out there looking for that little place to go to, whether it's the first stop, the place on the way, or where you end up.
