Enjoy simple and elegant food creations
After reading one too many food blogs, I decided to venture to one of the most appealing foodie destinations, Cafe Creasion. The name itself was already thrilling, signalling a fusion between Asian flavours and exotic creations.

However, the destination itself was quite difficult to find. I got off the bus just before Oxford Street turned into Liverpool Street near Hyde Park, and began to follow my Google Maps. It led me off the main road and onto a few seemingly deserted streets. But when I finally reached my destination, it was bustling with people, eating and waiting.

We took a stand in the small shop and wrote our names on the waiting list. As it was only the two of us, it did not take long for us to be ushered to a rather squashy, but nevertheless comfy, spot in the shop.

The menu was presented to us on a clipboard with a few recycled pages, which was a nice and unique touch. The food sounded delicious, but I was a bit full from the food I had not long before. There were macarons! Though neither of us had any macarons, they looked delicious, and had flavours ranging from coconut and blackberry to lychee.

However, I absolutely could not go past the eat-in chocolate green tea fondant. Almost everyone sitting in the shop and outside the shop had one of the most picturesque and aesthetically pleasing dishes I have ever seen. The green splurge that came inevitably from the green tea was balanced well with the presentation of hotter colours, such as red from the strawberries. As I plunged my fork into my fondant, the green tea gently oozed out onto my plate. As I expected, it was absolutely delicious!

Unlike me, my friend had not had lunch and she took the first option in the all-day breakfast upon seeing the sheep's milk yoghurt. She had it with a house-made granola with a fruity mix. It looked very appealing.

A very popular beverage was the green tea latte, which looked fantastic.

I would definitely revisit Cafe Creasion, if only just for enjoying the artistic chocolate green tea fondant.
