Enjoy Home Made Food in a Casual Atmosphere
Cafe 61 is a very earthy, simple cafe that is open all day Sunday through to Friday.

It is a Kosher (Jewish) Cafe and I believe the only one in Perth, and is not far from Gooseberries Cafe.

It is very unpretentious, does not have a huge menu, however, what they have is well made and tasty. They also do specials each day and cater for children.

Vegetarian samosas were special of the day when were there.

Added to this, the prices are extremely cheap compared to anywhere else, and whether you want a large meal or a snack, Cafe 61 always has quality food which is all made on the premises by a family run business.

They make many things to order!

My grandson chose the chips, a hot dog, and an orange drink and his meal came to just $9.50, including the drink!

I was not particularly hungry, so chose a freshly made sandwich with cheese and tomato.

You order in one room and pick up from the room next door and waiting time was minimal.

They have a range of frozen meals, which I have bought previously and they are excellent, particularly their fried fish (yes, I am lazy sometimes). They also have fish balls, lasagnas, pastas, chicken including chargrilled chickens, schnitzels and curry meals.

Lovely chicken schnitzel

They also do salad platters and more to order.

It is a very child-friendly cafe, and children can run on the oval (provided nothing is one there!) situated right next to the cafe.

My grandson, after eating, ran round the oval

Situated at 61 Woodrow Avenue, in Yokine, there is heaps of parking off the street and right next to the cafe.

You can see more at their website, and I highly recommend this cafe for a quick, relaxing and enjoyable snack or meal.
