We were there for afternoon tea and found so many delicious pastries and cakes. They provide some gluten-free sweet treats such as almond coconut tart, cherry coconut tart, mixed fruit tart and macarons. For other sweet treats, you can try slices and muffins, homemade banana bread and scones with jam. One of the waitresses who served us was very patient while we decided amongst the many delicious options.

Cafe 21 opens from 6am until 10pm. Their special breakfast menu is bacon and egg roll with coffee for only $9.90. You can make an order on the phone and pick up your "on the go" breakfast. They have ready meals to grab if you are in a hurry, such as fresh salads, wraps, sandwiches, and choices of hot food. For dinner, you have to try their scotch steak with chips and salad for only $22.
But one thing that caught my eyes is their dessert called Halo Halo. It is a popular Filipino dessert that layered with a mixture of shaved ice, evaporated milk, agar jelly, tropical fruit, sago and ice cream on top. This dessert is perfect for Darwin's hot and humid weather. It served in a tall bowl glass and it's very inviting to try.
