The Cadbury Easter Egg Hunt and Family Picnic is now in its 16th year, and has been held since 2001 to support and raise money for the Royal Children's Hospital Good Friday Appeal. This event has raised a huge $1 million for children and families at the hospital.
Anyone who comes along is welcome to take part in one of the many egg hunts that will be held throughout the day, make Easter gifts for friend and family at the Arts and Crafts tent, and get the chance to visit the carnival area which will be filled with fun including pony rides, face painting and potato sack races.
Some of the shows that will headline the family entertainment program include Peter Pan, Dirt Girl, Magic Show, Tom & Jerry, and the crowd favourite - the Cadbury Easter Bunny Show. A range of rides will also be available such as the Dragon Wagon Roller Coaster, Chair o' Plane, Fun House Maze, Cup & Saucer Ride, Giant Slide and Spooky Mansion!
As well as the great entertainment, food stalls will also be available and all proceeds collected from the rides and food vendors will be donated to the Good Friday Appeal. What better way to enjoy yourself whilst knowing you're doing something good? Plus, as always, the Cadbury Easter Bunny will be making an appearance to meet and greet families and entertain everyone.
