Delicious Food and Fast Service
When out and about and away from home there is nothing I hate more than eating somewhere boring and I certainly don't want to eat at the same franchise found two minutes away from my house. That's why when wandering down the main drag of Redcliffe I was so excited to see Cactus Jack's, an interesting restaurant that was not there previously.

The décor resembled a very clean and stylish saloon with plastic cow heads adorning the walls, beer bottle chandeliers and fantastically old metal wheels weaved with various sawing instruments as table separators.

The staff were extremely efficient and within moments of being seated our comfort levels were checked by the manager and a waitress had suddenly appeared to take our order. Our drinks arrived so quickly we had barely even finished asking for them. The staff were a very friendly and group and the waiter who bought our drinks over made us chuckle (on purpose, no bad service here) when presenting my rather masculine partner with an extremely sweet strawberry cocktail named Beautiful and placed a tall beer down on the table in front of me.

Now the cocktail was delicious, but of course we were there for the food, and the food was even better. I tried Cactus Jack's signature dish the Hillybilly Burger, which was a scrumptious beef burger with a mixture of sauces that made my tummy rejoice. Unfortunately my elated tum was too tiny to hold the whole burger but my partner was more than happy to finish my meal as well as his crispy chicken strips and dipping sauce that only my good table manners stopped me from licking straight out of the container.

We sat on the high tables out the front and watched the sun sprinkle its light upon water and the waves roll in onto the beach. We were perfectly positioned between the construction workers enjoying a bear on their break, and the family currently singing Happy Birthday at the top of their lungs, proving that Cactus Jack's is friendly to all customers.
