The upcoming Cacklefest is sure to have something to tickle your funnybone, with short comedy films as well as live improv and stand up acts.

A once off mid-week event, Cacklefest is on the 10th of August 2011, from 7.00pm-10.00pm at the iconic Gertrude's Brown Couch in Fitzroy.

The line up includes critically acclaimed short film When The Wind Changes. This gem of a film, directed by Melbourne filmmaker Alethea Jones, has been making the festival rounds in 2011, picking up awards at FlickerFest and the St Kilda Film Festival.

Other inclusions are the Wrong People Comedy Troupe, and short films The Prohibition (dir. Lachlan Harris) and Awkward (dir. Matthew Stevenson).

At $15 ($12 for concession), it's sure to have you laughing to the end of the week.
