First there was Cacklefest , a meld of short films, stand-up, and skits to bring out a giggle in even the stiffest upper lips.

After its humble success back in August, the crew behind this night of laughs decided to bring it all back for another evening of funnies and fun. It is the era of Hollywood reboots after all and what good is a single success without a sequel?

Cacklefest II promises more comedic shorts, stand-up acts and skits, including live improv from 'The Wrong People' who were certainly a hit with the audience last time.

Talented Melbourne filmmaker and actor Alethea Jones will be contributing again to the array of short films, with a bunch of episodes from webseries Cop Hard . Jones has been working on this hilarious series as assistant to Writer/Director Charles C Custer as well as appearing in front of the camera.



The cackles kick off at 7.30pm. This time there'll even be wine, beer and live music after the event. Not too shabby considering entry is $10 or $8 for students, which is even cheaper than last time.

So if you missed Cacklefest: never fear, the sequel is here. It's bigger, better, and on a Friday so you can laugh your way into the weekend.
