Ferdinand splashes movie screen at Caboolture Swimming Pool
When you think of a swimming pool, you naturally think of summer, families, barbeques, splashing, swimming and having fun. That's exactly what you can do on Saturday 19th January 2019 from 5.30-pm to 8.30pm at the Caboolture Swimming Pool.
The Moreton Bay Regional Council is hosting Caboolture Splash & Movie at the pool and there will be plenty of activities for the kids including competitions, a jumping castle, slip and slide and a huge inflatable slide as well as other pre-movie entertainment. A fundraising sausage sizzle and popcorn will be available for purchase from the Rotary Club of Caboolture and Caboolture Community Action. After the tummies are full, you and the kids can relax back on the poolside chairs and watch a special screening of Ferdinand, which is rated G.
Ferdinand is the story of a young bull who escapes from a training camp in rural Spain after his father never returns from a showdown with a matador. He is adopted by a girl who lives on a farm but is recaptured by the authorities. With his peaceful home now in his past and with the aid of a wisecracking goat and three hedgehogs, Ferdinand must break free before he comes up against El Primero, the famous bullfighter who never loses.
As the Caboolture Swimming Pool has limited capacity, please arrive early to ensure you can enjoy the fun of the evening. No glass or alcohol is permitted at the pool.
This event is sponsored by the Moreton Bay Regional Council and supported by Councillor Adam Hain. Entry is a gold coin. The pool is situated at 198 King Street Caboolture. If you have any further questions, please contact Council on 07 3205 0555. See you there!
