I'm quite the globe trotter, in Sydney for the last few years and a fond writer I'm exploring what the city and its surrounds has best to offer!

Sydney is Wakeboarding. As Sydneysiders, we really can do anything when it comes to extreme sports.

Cables Wake Park in Penrith offers 2 cable lake parks next to one another; one for beginners and the other for more advanced wake boarders to enjoy an Xtreme Sunny day!

If you are fond of extreme sports and Wakeboarding, but have not found the right place in Sydney, here it is for you! It is a great opportunity to do something that you just don't get to do every day.

A $69 pass will offer you full day access to all the amenities, but the option to stay 1 or 2 hours is also available.

Don't worry, whether you end up liking it or if you are not too thrilled to spend the whole day wakeboarding, you can also make yourself a BBQ, chill in the green area between the lakes and enjoy the sun as you see professional wake boarders jumping in all directions. If you are more fond of great falls, turn your head the other way and enjoy beginners falling as well in very different directions!

Enjoy this day the way you want it. Just keep in mind that sunny weekend days may be a bit busy and rainy days may be a bit too cold to jump in the lake.
