With its combination of beach and town access, spacious rooms and a relaxing pool, the Byron Beachcomber Resort , Byron Bay, presents value for money with luxury.

The Stay
The resort was booked due to a stay in Byron Bay fuelling my addiction to the area, hence extending to a new property for two further nights, due to my other property being fully booked. However, this presented Byron Beachcomber to me, and I found it an introduction to the bay itself, the uptown area, and knew almost humorously that being near the bus interchange might motivate me to go home in fact, as Byron Bay does affect well, yet I had to go home eventually thus being near the bus terminal does help motivate.

Nevertheless, I just got relaxed, the reason being the rooms were just so spacious! I have shown some photos of the property and living space size below. Management was understanding of the fact I was already in Byron Bay at the time of booking, and overall, I could see the efforts to help customers enjoy their stays.

Things to note about accessing property:
There is a slightly upmarket backpackers resort next door, Belongil Beach access is across a railway line, but everyone wanting beach access crosses it at the appropriate crossing point - which is opposite the beach path through a few metres of vegetation. It's only a single rail track, however, so footwear is entirely at your discretion but a pair of sandals suitable for treading on sand might be useful. The resort's supplied furnishings looked clean and maintained, guest communal laundry is free including powder and the pool area's hot spa bath is popular but does require service at times. Access to Byron Bay is via aeroplane or Byron Bay Shuttle , while the more obvious Greyhound Coaches as well as NSW Trainlink with rail bus connections are possible. I also think expect most things you ought to expect at a resort worth a couple of hundred dollars a night in 2024, like comfort, proper bath soaps, tea and coffee, air conditioning in two rooms, tours from its doorstep, helpful staff etcetera. However, note that smoking is allowed in some outdoor areas on the property.

I think the Byron Beachcomber was an excellent choice I made to try them out and didn't regret staying, the stay easily grew on me, and I appreciated the space of the rooms as the resort's most attractive feature.
