With its hiking trails, waterfalls and parks ripe for picnicking, Samford has recreational activities down to a T, and now with the introduction of quality eating establishments such as BuzzStop Espresso Bar and Ya Ya Bar and Eatery, the picture is complete.

[ADVERT]Hidden away in the peaceful retreat of Samford Valley, BuzzStop and its partner in crime, Ya Ya Bar, have been providing locals with a much needed culinary fix for the past year.

BuzzStop is open from sunrise to sunset, offering excellent coffee, hand squeezed juices and a selection of cakes and brunches.

The menu is always changing, with weekend specials ranging from hearty grilled lamb chops with bacon, fried eggs and a creamy pea and fetta mash on polenta sourdough, to a more delicate brioche French toast with grilled fig, lemon mascarpone, orange blossom syrup and toasted almonds.

From lunch until late, the evening crowd is catered for next door at BuzzStop's younger sibling, Ya Ya Bar and Eatery. Ya Ya offers a more upscale dining experience than BuzzStop, and the food is mind-blowingly good.

The quality of the ingredients, carefully selected from local sources, along with its quirky atmosphere and retro interior, makes Ya Ya a stand out.

Imaginative cocktails, fresh tapas, seasonal meals and a thoughtful wine list work seamlessly with Samford's unique village lifestyle to create an experience worth travelling for. Be sure to check out Ya Ya's Sunday Sessions, a fun afternoon of live music, friendly, down to Earth service, and colourful jugs of sangria.
