Buy from the Bush Queensland Festival at Summer Land Camels will be held on Saturday 17 September 2022 from 8.30am to 2pm at the Summer Land Camel Farm in the Scenic Rim, 8 Charles Chauvel Drive, Harrisville. Admission is free so do come along and support rural businesses and fabulous makers and creatives from around Queensland. Enjoy the best of a boutique country market, food trucks on site and a bar for refreshments. With friendly camels on the premises and local entertainment from the talented lads from Silk 'N' Oak, you'll be lulled into thinking you're on another planet. Sponsors River 94.9 will be broadcasting live for the morning, so go ahead, relax, browse the market stalls and have a great ole time.

There'll be tons of great stalls to go through as you can see from the small collection of images on this page. Food, gifts, fashion, baked goods, relishes and more. Supporting bush businesses was never so easy. Why not complete the day with a camel ride, and really feel like you're in a faraway land. Just book the ride on the day. There's plenty of parking onsite, and do note that no dogs/pets allowed, except for fully certified assistance dogs. Why not head to the event page for details and to click 'going'; and check the discussion section to be privy to some of many stallholders that'll be at the market. Stay in touch with Buy from the Bush Qld via their Facebook page for updates and interesting content.

Featured at the Festival is celebrated chef Josh Lopez, a champion of the Scenic Rim's Eat Local Week. He'll be staging cooking demonstrations for you to enjoy and perhaps learn from. Just 45 mins from Brisbane and just over an hour from the Gold Coast, Summer Land Camel Farm is the perfect venue for an event of this scale that represents bush businesses. From flavour makers, growers, wine makers, handmade wares, tourism providers, entertainers and more. Aside from camel rides, go on a farm tour, enjoy kids games, face painting, guest speakers and other activities. This is the best of the bush right on the doorstep of the city.

As aforementioned see stallholders on the event page discussions section. Stallholders mentioned include ThisANNthat; Truffle Discovery Centre Stanthorpe & Mt Tamborine; Wonderwerk Magnesium Oil Products; Plants from Harrisville; Luv a Cookie; Sabem Herbals; Hillie's Spinners and Lures; Lavender & Lace wedding and event florist; Gem Hunting Brisbane and so much more. Food trucks mentioned to feed hungry visitors are Little Mamak; Fryer & Brimstone; Curley's Real Fruit Ice Cream; Netties Nachos; TurkishTucker; Coffee Bees Bakehouse; Andy's German Bratwurst & Currywurst; and dare I say - more. Get in there bright and early as there's just not enough time to enjoy all the stalls, the food, the entertainment and the rides.
