On a busy street, there's a tiny door that opens into a wonderful garden oasis. Walking into an aviary style enclosure, the soothing sound of running water and mass of greenery drowns out the world outside.

We'd arrived for breakfast, but they are open for lunch and dinner too.

Ordering banana pancakes and fresh coconut milk, we sat back and watched the butterflies slowly start to come to life in the stillness of the morning.

We watched the woman expertly hack the whole coconut into a cup that we could drink from, with a straw. The watermelon-sugar freeze is also perfect to cool down with on a hot afternoon.

The breakfast menu is small but covers the usual fare - museli and fruit, eggs and bagette and a number of variations on pancakes.

If you are coming for lunch or dinner, more traditional Khmer offers are available, and check the website as there is often entertainment too.

There is a boutique selling the wonderful silks and handicrafts sourced from disadvantaged communities, and both the restaurant and the boutique fund programmes to help disadvantaged children and youth. Read more on their Social Mission here .

If the lovely garden setting isn't enough to encourage you to put away your phone, they do have free wifi or you can read the newspapers available to catch up on the outside world.

So stop by for a drink or a meal, even watch some traditional dancing, or just watch the butterflies flutter by...
