Completed in April 2022, the colourful mural on Bute's silo is the latest addition to the South Australia Silo Art Trail. Sydney-based artists Scott Nagy and Janne Birkner were chosen to paint the entire eastern face of the silo as part of a $100,000 community art project made possible through the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal's Tackling Tough Times Together program and by the Barunga West Council. The artistic duo developed the design based on community consultation which revealed that bright colours and local agriculture, flora and fauna were the highest priorities.

The artwork, therefore, features a young woman along with a rooster, sheep, blue wren, rainbow bee-eater, flowering orchids and the town's historic railway station and Hummocks in its background. The girl pushing a vintage bike represents women in country areas. For the best views, head to Railway Terrace and access the silo from there. It is hoped that this artwork will help attract more visitors to the township, as well as to northern Yorke Peninsula in general.

Bute also boasts other attractions such as the shady Railway Reserve which is great for picnics, a fauna park with kangaroos, alpacas, emus, ducks and peacocks, and various art displays around town including on the stobie poles. Located just 150 kilometres northwest of Adelaide, the township is easily accessible via National Highway A1 and Copper Coast Highway. Once at Kulpara, turn right onto Upper Yorke Road and in 15 minutes you'll be there admiring South Australia's latest silo art.
