More than 200 street performers, over two days, will flock to Winders Park, Currumbin, for the Buskers by the Creek entertainment extravaganza. The weekend kicks-off at 10am on Saturday 15th October and runs till 6pm Sunday 16th October.
This year's organisers, wanting the most eclectic line-up yet, have had a field day with the programme to ensure all genres get a look in with music, circus, comedy, dance and even BMX and skateboard spectacles included in the schedule.
Adam Brand, winner of 12 Golden Guitar awards, has jumped on-board to bring his own brand of busking boot scoot. Plus there will be loads of other interactive jamming with the likes of The Lamplights, Electrik Lemonade, The Lyrical, Leopolds Treat, Juzzie Smith and last year's 'Battle of the Buskers' winners, The Scrims.
Audiences will also be wowed by undiscovered and emerging singer/songwriters including the raw sounds of 2016 Byron Bay Bluesfest Busking Grommet Champions, Maple – or you can comfortably rock out with old hands Space Cowboy, Kenny Slide, Dan Hannaford, Matty Rogers and Barefoot Friday.
Circus and physical performers will amaze and mesmerise. Stepping up to the plate will be Melon the Human – Southbank favourite and 2016 Cavill Lane Buskers Champion, along with crowd favourites Ruby Rubberlegs, Dandyman, The Pitts Family Circus and Xtremofire to name a few.
Then just so no one feels left out, a 'floating' BMX and skateboard spectacle, with SPENT celebrity rider Chris James and friends are geared up to let fly. The half pipe will become Saturday night's hot spot, with Energy Entertainments closing the night's celebrations atop with thundering fire.

Although the event is FREE, all performer hats and suitcases will be out, so don't forget to BYO spare change! There will also be 'Pick your Busker' money for sale, with each token worth $1. When given, your favourite acts will redeem for cash.
All entertainment is deemed family friendly, with the added bonus of a Kids Zone incorporating arts, crafts and music related activities. Child minding service will also be available Dogs are permitted on leash only.
Food and beverages will be satisfied with tastes of Persia, Italy, Spain, Jamaica and Mexico just a few of the flavours on offer.
The 'NightQuarter Bar' will pop up within the festival grounds offering beer, wine, spirits and frozen delights. There's a stage within the bar area, with live music kicking off from 10.30am both days. 18 plus only permitted. No alcohol outside the designated bar area.
Parking is available at Currumbin Primary School - $5 with all proceeds going to the school, or Currumbin RSL in the grassed area behind - $5 per car going to the Veterans Support Centre. There is a designated "Drop Off Zone" along Duringan Street, for those wishing to drop off before heading to find a park. Public transport - a bus departs from The Pines Shopping Centre on an hourly basis.
