Bus Tour – STEM Careers for the Future


Board the Unley Community Bus to travel to Tonsley Innovation Precinct for a FREE guided tour, Bus Tour – STEM Careers for the Future, and explore different STEM careers.

This tour will be held on Thursday, 12 October 2023, with meeting point at Village Green (behind the Council Chambers), Oxford Terrace, Unley, at 10.15 am sharp. The itinerary for the day is as follow:
• 10.30 am bus travels to Tonsley
• 11.00 am - 1 pm tour and workshop
• 1 pm - 1:30 pm lunch
• 1.30 pm - 2 pm bus travels back to Unley

The tour will show you some of the companies based at Tonsley and you will have the opportunity to explore and discover the huge range of science and technology careers of the future. The tour will also include a discussion of STEM career pathways and an interactive problem-solving workshop.

This workshop is intended for high school students aged 12 to 18 years old. Please bring your own water bottle and laptop or notebook, as well as and lunch or snacks (or money to purchase food). Spots at this workshop are limited, so book here ASAP. In the event that all spots are allocated, priority will be given to young people who live and/or study in the City of Unley. As this event is offsite, all attendees must include parent/guardian contact details on the order form in case of emergency.
