The name is quite literal. On November the 8th busses full of people will head way down south to the tall trees of Kuitpo Forest. There Naomi Keyte, Swimming, Kira Puru, Sparkspitter and Ocky will be providing the music while Christ Petridis lights up the whole affair. Previous years of Moving Music have seen cardboard castles, attendees becoming an art installation, and badminton under an unexpected fireworks display. There's no doubt that Bus to Big Trees will bring something new and exciting unlike any other music event in Adelaide.
Unlike Moving Music, which was run under sunny skies, Bus to Big Trees is a night event. Organisers claim you're a perfect fit if you're "a purveyor of the dark, a celebrant of nature, a general creature of the night".
Tickets are only available by supporting the Bus to Big Trees Pozible campaign. There are four different bus options available, with the fourth option also giving you 6 complimentary drinks on the evening. Three Oaks Cider, Fox Creek Wies, Moritz Beer and Mischief Brew will be providing drinks on the night for you to buy.
For more information check out the Pozible campaign. There's not too much information available, but that's half of the mystery. What more do you need other than dancing to great local and interstate music under the trees and stars?
