The award-winning team of Izzy McDonald and Geordie Crawley have returned to Perth's Fringe World for 2017.

Ardent theatre lovers will recall Girl in the Wood (written by Crawley, directed by McDonald) there offering this year is Bus Boy (this time the two have switched places and it is written by McDonald and directed by Crawley).

The play is based on a simple. age-old story. Troubled girl (Jerry, played by author McDonakd) meets boy on a bicycle who thinks he's a bus (played by Sean Guastavino). He lives an isolated and literally an insular life on Rottnest Island and is obsessed with buses, their routes and assumes the persona of a bus every time he mounts his bike.

The interaction and life-changing events that follow their meeting will leave you thinking and looking at the people around you slightly differently.

Bus Boy runs at the Blue Room Theatre Studio,53 James Street, Northbridge from the 20th to the 28th January at 5:00pm or 6:00pm.

Tickets cost from $19 and are available on the Fringe World website here .

This is a show designed for those fifteen years of age and over.
