As a family with young kids, eating out is a challenge sometimes. Finding a perfect place with great food that everyone in the family likes, plus an enjoyable atmosphere is not easy. The Atrium Buffet at Burswood Entertainment Complex however came to my mind. After checking their pricing and menu, I made a booking at the Atrium on Friday night. There are so many options to choose from, they serve full breakfast till 11 am, lunch till 4 pm and dinner till 10pm. Weekend pricing is more expensive than during the week.
Dinner on Friday night was excellent. There are 2 seatings to choose from - one start at 5 pm, and you must finish your dinner by 7.30 pm. Another seating started at 8 pm and you must finish by 10 pm.
The service was excellent for a buffet. We were treated with a warm welcome and personal waitstaff the whole time we were at the table. Great selection of drink and wine. Their food selections are amazing; giant prawns, fresh oysters, crab legs, salad bar, dim sum, a variety of Asian food and many other international food options, roast beef, soup, and a to die for dessert bar with a fondue fountain.
My children enjoyed making their own fondue and their own ice cream with many fancy topping and candies to choose from. Excellent quality of food. We felt like we were at a 5 stars restaurant with endless options of entrées to choose from. We got to try so many different kinds of cuisines in one night. It was entertaining to watch the chef prepare pasta with your choice of ingredients. We could not stop going back for more food. It was a real treat for everyone in my family. We loved the experience of having a great buffet with great quality food excellent service and great dessert bar.
After dinner we went out to the bar area for a coffee which has live music. What a great piano band, we really enjoyed our night out with our children. Who would have thought that a casino complex would be quite entertaining for a family with young children. My husband did have short moment to go walk around the casino and play a couple games of black jack for fun while the kids and I danced around with the band in the bar area.
We checked out a couple other restaurants in the complex such as Nobu (upscale Japanese restaurant), Rockpool (upscale steak house), Yu ( Cantonese cuisine ) and The Food Court if you just want a quick inexpensive dinner.
We had a great time at Burswood Entertainment complex . I would highly recommend it.
