Ever since I wrote about the Burrinja Circus Festival staged at the Burrinja Cultural Centre and actually attended the EVENT, I was highly impressed by the Cultural Centre, hence I am compelled to write about IT again! I'm going to have to drop in for a coffee during the day at their location (351 Glenfern Road, Upwey ~ (03) 9754 8723) because when I visited it was dark and unfortunately I could not enjoy the scenery on the way.

This community cultural centre has to be a cut above the rest. It provides an opportunity for artistic, cultural and environmental interactions. They've even been awarded The Archival Survival Award for Small Museums 2013 by Museums Australia (Victoria), for its amazing Public Programs as part of Fashion Meets Fiction. This award has been received by Burrinja twice no less, in three years. This has only spurred them on to program even more amazing events, and that's the whole reason I wanted to write this article. Oh, I could write up each event as they come up, but instead, I'd love to encourage you to bookmark their website and check on it periodically or write down the events you are interested in attending in your diary. I assure you, the entertainment is non-stop! Quick! coz you've already missed some !! Currently, they have programs right through to the end of October 2014 so far, and I can't wait to see what else is going to be on offer after that.
