Fresh Mountain Air, Wildlife and a Stellar View

Bellbirds, Magpies and Sparrows fill the air with song, and if you're lucky, you can catch a glimpse of a Lyrebird, Bower Bird or Black Cockatoo.



Welcome to Burragorang Valley Lookout, with panoramic lake and mountain views. Lake Burragorang covers an area of 18,000 acres formerly known as Burragorang Valley, which was flooded when the Warragamba Dam was built, between 1948-1960.

In Aboriginal, 'Burragorang means 'home or place of the giant kangaroo'.



Walk through bush tracks, taking in the history of the area or enjoy a picnic under the eucalyptus trees. There's plenty of tables and gas BBQs, plus a playground for kids.

Amenities and drinking water also available.





While you're there, visit the nearby Wollondilly Heritage Centre , to learn more about the area. Open weekends and Public Holidays 10am-4pm

Getting There: Burragorang Road, Nattai NSW 2570. Just over an hour drive from Sydney CBD, 25-minute drive from Camden, 40-minute drive from Campbelltown.

Parking: Available at Burragorang Valley Lookout picnic area, including several designated disabled spots. Bus parking is also available.
