If you have never been to the Burra Antique Fair, consider this year's fair in May. The Burra Antique Fair fills the town abuzz with excitement. There are two venues; the Town Hall and the High School gym hall. There is a free bus to take you between the venues with your entry ticket, although it is not that far to walk.

At the fair, you will find a huge array of vintage wares such as dining table items including retro china and glassware. Small collectables, interesting curios and toys are highly sought after. There will be vintage jewellery and clothing and some lovely old linen. You never know what you will find at an antique fair.
Remember also that Burra has many antique shops to explore, The fair bus will take you up to North Burra district to explore the stores up there. Burra has many food shops, but the supermarket does close up early at lunchtime on a Saturday, so take some supplies if you need them.
Burra is one hour and 20 minutes from the Gawler bypass (Sturt Highway). You need to then take the Horrocks Highway and turn onto the Barrier Highway via Riverton to get to Burra.
