The Burnside Painting Group welcomes everyone to venture out to The Hall, 67 Bridge Street, Kensington to experience painting demonstrations, workshops and a enjoy a prolific exhibition of student's creations and stunning artwork during their Open Day on Sunday, 21st May, 2017 between 11.30am to 3.30pm.

The theme of the Open Day will be focussing on the evolving process of creativity from inception to exhibiting finished works. Visitors will be encouraged to embrace their inner artist and to "take up a pencil or paintbrush" and hopefully find a home with the Burnside Painting Group to foster your budding talent.


There will be live demonstrations, artworks for sale, examples of work including "sketchbooks" and a photographic display of the group's formal learning workshops with artists offering to provide a visual history of the life of one of their paintings.

The Burnside Painting Group has been successfully inspiring people of all ages and experience who are interested in art, drawing, painting and creating multi-media artworks in a friendly and nurturing community group for over 50 years.
