The beast within was unleashed with a night filled with challenge notions of beauty, body, identity and reality with Burlesko Bizarro - a show that featured fun and chaos as we stepped into the devilishly weird zone and wild world of untamed burlesque performances.

The 'World's Original Sex Clown', Glitta Supernova, presented this spectacular show, Burlesko Bizarro. There were nine acts throughout the evening with each highlighting a unique, unconventional, freakish, sensual and mind-blowing performance - most of which contained nudity!

Glitta Supernova brought satirical, personal and political storytelling with soul, along with an A-list entourage of the most notorious names in the business with electric, bent Cabaret at its best!



The Acts featured:

Glitta Supernova is one of Australia's key underground culture makers for over 20-years. A Burlesque pioneer and Sex Clown, she has thrived producing originality and Burlesko Bizarro was one nothing short of this!

There was an explosive iconoclastic visionary of tits, ass and art!

Kira Carden (Hu-La-La) showcased characters inspired by whimsy, strangeness of life, and the bygone era of "flash acts". She took us through her stories using circus, burlesque and physical theatre with her old school style vaudeville undressed, innovated and distorted to capture the mind of today's now.

Betty Grumble brought us into a surreal world of obscene beauty queen and ecosexual, through ceremonies of riotous flesh and renewable love energy.

The Amazing Ari explored and developed new aspects of performance with fresh discoveries and an extremely unique approach to aerial disciplines, with style of traditional and radical.

Lillian Starr's performance was audacious, conceptual and consisted of layered routines that crossed between performance art and burlesque.

We witnessed the performers dive into their primal selves and dare to stare through the depths of animal instinct with a fierce feast of the senses with aerial trapeze, hula hooping, serious comedy, and extreme nudity!

The event was funny, bent and brilliant, as the beast within was released through an extraordinary night of dynamic burlesque and circus.
