If you want to learn the language of Cajun food, you have to immerse yourself in the Louisiana culture. You don't get more southern than slaw, pimento cheese and green tomatoes. Cajun seasoning blends made by McCormick and others are very similar and may be substituted.

Opinion

Personally, I would rather have the wine than the burgers.

If I had to choose one, I would go southern and have the Palmetto Pride Pimento-Cheese Burger.

If you like to learn new things than this cookbook is for you.

While you are at it, choose a few new wines!
