have a great concept: 'seriously good, seriously healthy burgers'. The O'Connell Street burger bar has been one of Adelaide's best burger joints for a number of years, but it takes a lot to keep a good reputation going.

have changed hands, and whether their burgers have withstood the change depends on who you ask.

The menu is still huge. Burgers are split into 'Beer It', 'Chicken It', 'Veg It', and 'Fish It'. There are some really interesting burgers available, and the menu is one of the things that continues to set apart from your other options. 'It's Brie Good' has a ground beef patty, plum sauce, sliced brie, mayo, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and chilli relish - it's likely to get any cheese lover excited. An interesting vego burger is the 'Pump & Gring it' with pumpkin, cashew & ginger, olive & sage tapenade, aioli, lettuce, red onion, tomato, and relish.

While the menu is interesting, the burgers just don't seem to hit the spot like they used to. Sometimes the buns can be a bit soggy, the patties just aren't cooked as well, and some of the sauces add a bit too much heat and not enough flavour. They're far, far from bad burgers and a lot more satisfying than a McDonald's cheeseburger, but could they still be considered one of Adelaide's best ?

are definitely still kicking goals when it comes to their fries. They're crunchy, not overly oily, and nice and tasty. They come with a range of sauces for dippings: relish, chilli relish, aioli, mayo, plum, peanut, sweet chilli, & sour cream.

The burgers feel fresh, and they don't sit too heavy in your stomach, so maybe there is some truth to their healthy claims.

There's just something missing. It feels like they've taken the formula, but skipped on some of the passion. It definitely has it's good points, don't write it off, but don't expect the best Adelaide has to offer.

What do you think of 's new owners? Do they still have what it takes?
