If you love a good burger, then you'll be pleased to know there is an epic burger festival heading to Parramatta in September, thanks to Menulog. Prince Alfred Square Park is the place to be as it hosts this experience of the very best of the Aussie burger scene.
Each restaurant will battle it out to see who makes the best burger, with the winner taking home the 'golden pickle' trophy.
Plenty of flavours to savour on the day are guaranteed with vegetarian options also available from most vendors.
You can take your mouth-watering experience up a notch with some spice from Tabasco who will be providing free hot sauce to add to your burgers and if you've got what it takes, then you might want to take part in their chilli eating competition. There's plenty of prizes to be won in this and some burger competitions.
When you've worked up a thirst, you can take solace with Mexican soda drinks from Jarritos, a range of craft beers put together by Mountain Goat Brewery and a selection of curated cocktails from Buffalo Trace Bourbon and Fireball Whisky.

A signature mix of funk, soul, reggae and hip-hop tunes by The Hashtag DJ's will have you covered musically throughout the day, along with some appearances from local musicians.
Live art, stand-up comedy, T-shirt cannons and more add further to the enjoyment of the day whilst a chill out zone will cater for those that need to rest their full stomachs. Menulog will provide inflatable lounges and a creative space to relax and enjoy. Look out for some customer giveaways as well.
Children can enjoy face painting with a Mexican twist and Jarritos will be handing out Luchador masks in a designated area for families.
This event is ticketed with adult entry at $9.99 (plus booking fee) online or $15 on the day (if not sold out prior). Under 12's are free. Lunch sessions each day are from 12pm-4pm with dinner sessions from 5pm-9pm. Tickets come with a $15 Menulog voucher, so you're getting your money back in food at a later time, and profits from the booking fee will go to food rescue charity OzHarvest. Burger purchase on the day is by cash or credit card. No coupons needed. A win, win all-round.
