BLINDSIDE joins in the Australia Day celebrations with a exhibition that comments on Australian identity. This exhibition is staged by the Bureau for the Organisation of Origins (BOO), a collaborative and interdisciplinary visual arts project. Curated by Ben Sheppard, it provides a space to discuss and debate various issues regarding Australian identity. The curatorial approach prompts dialogue around issues of heritage, place, belonging and the organizational systems that affect everyday lives. A number of artists from different countries of origin along with indigenous artists are involved in this exhibition.
